Law Enforcement Partnership

Hinds County Sheriff’s Dept. tapes all school facilities for emergency readiness plan
Roll call training on working with airborne assets
Fly in Precinct 2 for Press Event
Roll call training for Ridgeland PD (all shifts)
Assisted Reservoir Patrol in search of boat accident victim and patrol flights
Continue to take area officers on orientation flights weekly
Flown investigators from Hinds and Jackson to survey possible murder sights
Flown for investigators with Hinds and Ridgeland to search possible sights in an ATV theft case
Continue to be a deterrent presence with our high visibility patrols over retail areas
Beginning August 1, 2007 we will work with JPD on a ten-day proactive policing operation in high crime areas
Metro One management continues to make ride alongs with ground officers as well as departmental visits
