SafeCity is about people and information. The power of people and the power of information, and the power of people using information to bring about substantial and dramatic changes in the quality of life in Mississippi.

SafeCity is a catalyst organization for change whose power is derived from the citizens. The goal of SafeCity is to develop a database of 20,000 citizens who are for safe neighborhoods and allied against crime. This powerful group will serve as the true catalyst for healing and change in the system. SafeCity will harness the power of the people and bring private sector involvement and commitment, at a level never before seen in our community.

SafeCity has no opinion on outside issues; our focus is strictly on the criminal justice system and its reform. The only requirement for SafeCity membership is a desire to make our communities a safe place for all.
